Word Assessment Test(WAT)
Before moving on to WAT, I want to answer some of the question that is running on your mind right now regarding WAT.You may have these questions as I also had before:
What is WAT?
Why is this test taken?
How to perform this test?
What is the main aim of this test?
How are we assessed on this test?
What is the duration of this test?
How many questions are asked in this test?
What is the best way to perform well on this test?
WAT or Word Assessment Test is the part of your psychological test which is taken on your Technical Officer's(TO) test. This test is taken to know about the characteristics qualities and behaviors of the candidate as we are given only few seconds to know the word and write a response to those words. As this test consists of 60 questions which have to be completed in only 15 minutes, You have only 15 seconds roughly to think about the word and write a response to those questions.
During this test 60 questions are displayed randomly on the screen for 15 minutes where one word is displayed only for 15 seconds and candidates have to write a response to all those questions in that short period of time.As we have short period of time we write the responses of those questions what we think or what our characteristics are so this is one of the best ways to find out true characteristics of the candidates.
As every candidate wants to give his/her best on this test,You should focus on to prepare mentally about the responses to those frequently asked questions. As the test takers have limited set of questions there is good possibility to repeat some of the questions.More than this the mistake most candidates perform when giving this test is that they forget the serial number of the questions and write responses of a word to another words response so you being the future army officer you should be careful on this where your sense of carefulness is also measured by this.
