Procedure to apply for Officer CADET in Nepalese Army



Every year NEPALESE Army announces vacancy to be part of the brave and glorious Gurkha Army as officer Cadet.The Nepalese Army helds the entrance exam for the 2nd  Lieutenant from the Nepalese Citizens on the basis of open competitive exam.The interested candidates can submit all the photocopies essential documents.

The application are available in all registration forms or you can apply directly online yourself at Nepalese Army Official website.

VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The vacancy announcement for  NEPALESE Army officer Cadet (Male and Female) for open and inclusiveness category is informed to the general public through national media (GorkhaPatra,Nepal Army Program in Radio Nepal,Sipahi Newspaper),all units of Nepalese Army and through Official website of Nepalese Army(www.nepalarmy.mil.np).

  • Nepal Army HQ,Kathmandu
  • Eastern Development HQ,Ithari
  • Mid Division HQ,Hetauda
  • Western Division HQ,Pokhara,Bijaypur
  • Mid-Western HQ,Surkhet
  • Far-Western HQ,Dipayal

The places for registration can be changed as per the need and time and situation.

 Registration Fees

  • NRS.1000 for open competitive competition
  • NRS.1000 plus additional 200 for each inclusive competition.


Essential Documents for Registration
  1. A photocopy of Nepali citizenship.
  2. A photocopy of SLC Marksheet,character certificate, provisional or original certificate.
  3. A photocopy of Intermediate level Marksheet,character certificate,Original or Provisional certificate
  4. A photocopy of bachelors or masters from from any universities or colleges affiliated from TU.
  5. A photocopy of any certificate of any extra curricular activities.


Only for those who have applied for inclusive competition.

Adibasi Janjati Category:A photocopy of certificate of Indigenous people from "Nepal Rastriya Janajati Utthan Pratisthan" and approval letter from CDO office.


Madhesi Category:A photocopy of certificate of Madhesi people from " Nepal Rastriya Janajati Utthan Pratisthan" and approval letter from CDO office.

Pichhadiyeko Chhetra Category:A photocopy of Nepali Certificate from Accham,Kalikot,Jajorkot,Jumla,Mugu,Dolpa,Bajhang,Bajura,Mugu and Humla District and a photocopy of certificate of Permanent Resident of above mentioned district from VDC/Municipality.

Dalit:A photocopy of certificate of Dalit people from "Nepal Rastriya Janajati Utthan Pratisthan" and approval letter from CDO office.



Note this factors while filling the form for registration.

1.You should not be the member of any political parties
2.You should not fill the form twice in two different centres.
3.You require all documents to be submitted during registration.
4.You should arrive on time during every selection process.
