What is Psychological Test?How is it taken or how are we assessed psychologically on overall psychological tests? 

Psychological Test is an integral part of selection of officers in every defense sectors of the world.Nepal also follows the trend to test its candidates psychologically to find the best candidates who are best suited for the job.On psychological tests (also known as GunaMapak Test) candidates are tested on 4 different tests i.e. TO,IO,GTO and BC.

TO also known as Technical Officers Test is the psychological test of the candidates where the candidates are assessed on what they write on the answer paper.It is the test full of writing only where the candidates are examined on how they write on 
1.PIQ(Personal Information Queries)
2.WAT(Word Assessment Test)
3.TAT(Thematic Appreciation Test)
4.SRT(Situation Reaction Test)
5.Self Description Test


IO also known as Interviewing Officer's Test is the one to one Interview by the Interviewing Officer and the candidate.It is the test which is used to test the candidates on the way they speak, how they speak and how truthfully they speak in full confidence.Usually this test runs for between 20-45 minutes.


GTO also known as Group Testing Officer, it is a test which observes how candidates work in the group of totally unknown peoples of different backgrounds and come to a solution from the whole group.Usually this test runs for two days where 9 different tests are taken to observe the candidates.The tests that are taken on GTO are:
1.Group Discussion
2.Group Planning
3.Progressive Group Task.
4.Snake Race or Group Obstacle Race.
5.Half Group Task
6. Lecturette 
7.Individual Obstacle Race
8.Command Task
9.Final Group Task


BC also known as Board Conference is the final psychological test where all the members of the selection board combines and sum up their views on the overall performance and behavior of the candidate.Usually this is the last chance to print the good impression on the members of the selection board.
