Lecturette
Lectutette is a important topic in GTO of the overall psychological test where the GTO officers provide you some topics on lecturette where each candidates have a chance to speak in front of the group and give short speech on the given topic.
The main aim of this test is to find out the real leaders. As leaders are not afraid to stand in front of the public and convince them to get the better results,GTO officer also expects the same thing from candidates.
As you will join forces as an officer you have the responsibility to command your troops and lead them to achieve the given mission where the medium of leading your troops is by speaking infront of them.
On this test GTO officer provides you the sheet of question cards and asks you to choose the topic for your lecture you are mostly familiar with.The time allowed for this test is 2 minutes where officer gives you warning after 1 minutes 30 seconds to sum up your lecture.
The well performance at lecturette can boost up your chances regarding your selection into the Nepalese army as cadet so you should keep in mind following things to give your best on this test.
1.Maintain good posture
2.Maintain eye contact with the GTO officer while giving your lecture.
3.Respect GTO officer at the beginning of your lecture
4.Try to divide your overall lecture on 3 paragraphs as essay (intro, body, conclusion)
5.Keep in mind that you have limited amount of time so say important points.
6.Don't repeat same ideas again and again.
7.Choose Topics you are familiar with.
8.Sum up your lecture with a sound conclusion.
