Physical Endurance Test
This is the second round of your overall selection process where the candidates are tested with their overall physical fitness where the candidates are asked to do various physical assessments. The main aim of this test is to find out if the candidates are fit enough to be recommended as a cadet and are able to receive the the grueling cadet training at Nepalese Military Academy at Kharipati.
Watch the video above to know how is it like to train in the Nepalese Army as Officer Cadet.
This test usually lasts for two days where on the first day, candidates have to complete:
15 sit ups
15 push ups
4 chin ups
On the second day the candidates have to complete the 3200 m race or 2 mile race with in 16 minutes for boys and 22 minutes for girls.
Usually most of the candidates are passed on this test and only some of the candidates are failed on the physical endurance test as the physical test is not too tough and candidates can easily pass this test even if they are not too fit. But candidates can start to prepare by running and doing physical exercises when you know about the advertisement of open recruitment for cadet.
Personally in my view, I have most of the guys who are not in any sports and with some weeks preparation, they have passed this test but prepare as much as you can for this test in order to be in your best shape on your physical test.
