 SELECTION PROCESS OF CADET IN NEPALESE ARMY

1.Filling on line application form

First of all the potential recruits should fill the on line army recruitment form and they should submit all the photocopies of required documents to the army barracks where the recruitment is opened.

2. Premedical examinations

On this day the potential recruits medical assessment is done normally where they have to undergo various check up's i.e. weight,height,chest,eye glass power,color vision,blood pressure and other premedical checkups on a normal basis inside the barracks.

3.Physical endurance test

The physical test for Nepalese army is not too tough and most of the candidates can pass this test easily where they have to undergo push ups,chin ups,sit ups,300 meter and 2 mile or 3200 meter race.

4.IQ test

The successful candidates in physical test are called to undergo IQ tests where the main aim of this test is to  check the intelligence level of the  candidates.

5.Written Exam

The candidates who passed the IQ test are called for written exams where questions for each subjects will consist of subjective and objective or mixed questions. The subjects for this test are GK,English,Nepali and Mathematics.

6.Psychological Test

The main aim of this test is to check the psychology of the candidate where they have to undergo various selection tests known as IO,TO,GTO, and BC. This test is the test of psychology of the candidates so the candidates should act  normally and should not memorize any of the answers asked.

7.Detailed Medical Examinations

This will be conducted generally for two days by the specialist doctors in the Military Hospital, Chhouni Kathmandu

8.Board Interview

This is the last selection process which is conducted to confirm the right candidates where successful candidates in all examinations are called for BOARD INTERVIEW which will be conducted in the presence of all members of selection Board.
